We have the best fruit drying facility in West Africa, a state-of-the-art plant for dried fruit, operated using renewable energy sources (biogas and solar thermal). Week after week 100 to 150 tonnes of fresh fruits are gently prepared and exported to Europe. HPW Fresh & Dry employs a workforce of 300 at Adeiso, Ghana.

Dried tropical fruit – the healthy and tasty energy-giver

Dried fruits provide key vitamins and dietary fibre for a healthy diet: with their natural sweetness and full flavour, they are a special treat. We harvest excellent tropical fruit in Ghana. Pineapples, coconuts, bananas and papayas throughout the year and mangoes for 5 months of the year.

Fully ripened in the field, picked fresh from harvest, cut in the country of origin and delivered to premises in Europe within 48 hours: fresh-cut products from HPW. We gently prepare the fruit where it ripens, throughout the entire year in Ghana, Egypt and South Africa. Choose from our range of 15 different kinds of fruit from around the globe, like pineapples, mangoes, melons, coconuts, papaya and pomegranates.

Dried fruit is ideal for breakfast cereals and muesli, dairy products and chocolate. We are always developing new products. We therefore produce fruit pieces with a low moisture content that are neither sticky nor wet or small pieces for adding to dairy products or for coating with chocolate. We would be happy to develop tailored dried fruit products to meet your needs and guarantee the quantities that you require.
